I didn't find the hats annoying per se, but I did think they could have used some more variation in the loop, like some rolls or some shit. Anyway, no compaints. This is quite nice.

Really groovy! I would love to see a full version of this, but that's just me. I don't think you've made anything bad to date, so just keep doing, I suppose. c:
Not much to say other than that I enjoy it. I guess if you were to do more deathstep (dark dubstep?) in the future I would direct you to Lord Swan3x for some inspiration. From what I understand about deathstep it is quite fast past with shit-loads of heavy, growly, rapid bass punches and breaks. Though, that could just be a different genre interpretation on my part. Like I said just an idea for some inspiration, worst case scenario, you end up listening to some good songs xD
Keep it up, man. Cheers c:
Working with Dj Abbic now, I see. Moving on up, kid. I'm proud 'o' yoo!
+ I love me some lovetrap so I'm looking forward to this.
Keep at it! Cheers c:
Ayy man glad to see you're still kickin :33 Yeh me and abbic have been pretty good friends for a while - took us this long to finally collab xD Cheers ;)
Aside from the repetition I quite enjoy this. The sound design is good and atmosphere on point. Only criticism, I guess, is that the bass a little too much reverb for me. It kind of pushes the bass back in the mix. I don't know if that's what you wanted, so I won't make that a factor in the actual rating.
So It's all really good, aside from the repetition.
Keep it up, man! Cheers c:
Incredible melodies and instrumentation, as always! Regarding the technical bits, I must agree with Mr. Aeron. Don't misconstrue that as me not liking the track, quite the contrary actually. I simply think there are some things you could do to make it even better. One thing I would really recommend would be to lower that synth at the second high energy portion - around 4:01 - by 1 octave. I really like the melody there, the synth just felt a little to isolated compared to the lower strings and such. Anyway, that's just my two cent. Retrospectively, you did make me a beta tester for a reason and I should have given you some feedback beforehand. However, I was rather preoccupied and still am. Apologies for that. Keep it up, though! Getting better every day.
Cheers c:
Thanks MolllusK! Yeah, I need to work on filling out my registers, which again is partially headphone bias. And yes, it could use some atmosphere... I always find the pads and risers kind of... lonely?... on their own, so I never think to use them more as enhancers than instruments. Ah well, something to keep in mind for the future, especially as I might be getting Serum in a few weeks. And don't worry about the beta testing, I know what it's like to be busy and I almost forgot about this piece myself for a while, to be honest. Anyway, glad you think I'm improving; the "electronic" part of electronic music is proving hard for me to adapt to, but I'll get there eventually I hope.
Cheers c:
No complaints, this is quite nice c:
Yay thanks man ;3
Wow, Dude! You are pumping out songs like a fucking madman!
Anyway, this is great. I love the chords, yet there were a few chord jumps that felt a little off, but it's not really a big issue. I don't know if I'd call this dubstep, though. There seems to be a distinct lack of growls. Still, great though.
Cheers c:
Thanks for the feedback :)
The one thing is that it doesn't have to have growls to be dubstep. This is definitely dubstep, but not as heavy as all my other ones.
Really great song, dude. I can definitely detect elements of Roses, both in structure and musically in general (Holy shit, am I actually starting to be able to detect that stuff?... neat). I found that the chords at the drop were missing a little bit of low end. But, it's certainly not enough for me to deduct anything from my rating.
Also, would you mind giving me some tips, over PM, about how you mixed/mastered the drums to be so punchy. I've recently been using a lot of analog/acoustic drums which are really tough to bring focus to. Whenever you have the time, a bit of a guide, if you will, would be very helpful and much appreciated.
Also, that pluck in the beginning was awesome. I was going to make a song in a similar style as well, called Violets (lol)... pls don't laugh, I'm not creative XD
Cheers, man c:
Thanks heaps dude! Yeh the main reason the chords where missing something is because my headphones broke and I'm waiting on my new pair. So I have to use my brother's shitty cheap headphones, which are bassy as fuck. But anyway, I'd love to give you some tips, but it would be a lot easier over Skype or Discord. Cheers mate ;)
