Dude, I have not yet listened to all of your songs (But I definitely will). Though, I can say you make some of my favourite music to date. I don't even know how to explain it, but I just love it. It might be the progression. Could be the simple, yet captivating sounds. But, I just can't put my finger on it. Either way, keep it up because I love what I hear!

I'm also crazy jealous of your setup, or, at least what I can see in your snapshot on your profile.

Cheers, man c:

Cursedsnake responds:

:D thanks

I had no idea you had Serum, man. If you ever find yourself in dire need of some sounds, feel free to ask me. I've been doing sound design for a while and I think I've become pretty proficient at it.
So, just say, idk, "Hey, you think you can make me a pluck? I kinda need one"

Either way, this sounds pretty good. You're definitely improving. c:

SittingDuck-Jamie responds:

Um I don't have Serum just the demo. xD
And now that you mention it, can you make me an intense synth like in Reverie by Xtrullor?
I've been trying to make one with Tyrell N6 and Fruity Reverb, but it's just too hard.
Me no have skills.
:D
And thanks for the review.
Check out my latest song, Echo.
Its OK, but my best work.
K bye now. (>.<)

I'm not sure what part of Canada you are from, but our weather in Southern Ontario has been absolutely horrendous. As I recall shovelling about 3+ft of snow off of my driveway recently, haha.

Either way, great sounds, man. I'm not going to flak you for using a pretty narrow variety of sounds here. A) Because that would be slightly hypocritical of me, and B) You said you only used one external VST, so props for that. Don't get me wrong, it sounds great like I said. Good progression, nice atmosphere. All 'n' all, quite solid. It would have been cool if you changed it up a wee bit for the second half of the song. Again, a little hypocritical. Though, this is a review not "do what I do - or - would have done". Too bad about the hard drive. But, props again for persevering.

Cheers, man c:

Good luck with the rest of Winter m8 :D

I am really glad you enjoyed this though, because I put the effort to try to perfect it this time. Next time I will change it up, but this review made my day so thank you so much!

I actually inspired something?... That's so cool!

Great piece, man. Definitely has a solid vibe to it. Nice sound design as well.

Cheers, man c:

KORAII responds:

No worries man :3 thanks for the feedback ;)

So much sexy right here. I always love these "Songs With Extra Craziness". I don't really need to say anything constructive, since I didn't find anything that was wrong here. Though the drop kind of lost some power, that could be my opinion, so I won't deduct any stars or half-stars.

Good on ya, cheers c:

KORAII responds:

XD i probably put more effort into it than i meant to

Really good, man. It's cool to see that when we talked about mixing future with dubstep you'd actually considered it, haha.

I have to say, you pulled it off quite well, indeed.

Cheers c:

Thanks m8 :)

At the time of this review this track has a rating of 1 star. I just have to say... WTF?!

I get it, hardstyle is really love-hate with most people, but come on.

I am personally not a hardstyle fan... not at all. But, I'm not rating this based on genre preference. I can see that a lot of effort was put into this, the melodies are nice and the sound design is solid. I found the kick a wee bit crackly. But, I don't know if that's common to the genre or not.

Either way, Razerrekker. You did a good job making me not dislike a track belonging to a genre I don't much care for.

Cheers, man c:

Razorrekker responds:

Heyy! This makes me so happy! I'm so happy that I made a song you enjoy, in a genre you don't really care for! Thanks! These kind of comments speak worlds to me :D

This is really accurate and really well made too. I might say that the mix needs a little more attention during the second part of the drop in which you introduce that extra synth. I find it to be a little on the loud side and it really distracted me from the melody prior to it. The best way to remedy that would probably be to EQ the lows and some mids or highs to be lower (I know you're just starting to EQ more now, but this is just for future reference), or to just lower the volume. Don't get me wrong , this is a really solid piece, I just think it would be one of those things that could give it that extra leap in solidity, just in my opinion after all.

Just in case it wasn't clear (It probably wasn't, you know me), this is a really good cover. Sounds quite close to the original while maintaining some of it's own uniqueness. So, good job c:

Miyolophone responds:

Thanks, MollusK c: I agree, getting the levels correct there was a struggle, and additionally, I couldn't quite get that noticeable-but-not-unpleasant buzzing quality the original had. More experience with EQ, I guess, is really what I need. (And better software probably wouldn't hurt either :/)

And thank you for the compliments! I always like to hear good things about my music (who doesn't :3) but it's especially important to hear that you think I'm doing this song justice.

You've got a really awesome sounding track here. I recommend that you really up the priority of the bass during the drop though. I suggest you push it to the front of your mix, or just up the volume. I understand the arp is the melodic focus of the song, and that's fine, but in a dubstep track it shouldn't outweigh the drop. The bass itself sounds really well made and well used, it just isn't loud enough.

Really solid job, dude. Just get that volume sorted put c:

Heriberto24 responds:

Thank you for the awesome feedback! I'll definitely work on it!

This is probably my personal favourite of all the tracks you've made. I sort of agree with the review below about the vocals. I didn't dislike them, though, I thought they were pretty repetitive and came in at some weird spots. I didn't find them to take away from the track too much though. Every other aspect of the track I loved, the sound design, structure and melodies were all 100% on point. Now, I don't know if I'd classify this as ambient, I'd say Chill House is probably the most appropriate categorization. I don't know which bpm this was made in, but oh well.

Before I go off on a massive tangent, I'll just say, Epic track! c:

KORAII responds:

thanks man ;) yeh it was 132bpm if i remember. thanks for the feedback as always :3
